Amanda Dudley

Amanda Dudley is a results-driven communications professional with more than 20 years of experience as a go-to resource in spokesperson training, media relations, branding, and strategic communications planning.  

In Amanda’s most recent role with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), she served as Communications Director for high-profile topics such as ADHD and children’s mental health.  For more than a decade, she provided award-winning crisis communications and media relations expertise, spokesperson training, and strategic communications planning to move the mission of CDC forward.

Her crisis communications expertise was forged during the H1N1 Flu Pandemic, the Ebola epidemic and the recent Zika crisis.  During these tragic events, she created messaging and audience- relevant communications, provided spokesperson training at every level, and interacted directly with national and international news media.

In addition to Amanda’s rock-solid health communications background, she has left her mark in numerous industries including entertainment, fashion, business-to-business, technology, and food and beverage.  This includes hands-on public relations counsel for local, regional and national brands such as Starbucks, Sundance Channel, Pfizer and Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals.  She worked on these various brands in-house, in boutique public relations agencies, and larger agencies like Weber Shandwick New York.

So, whether it’s expert media relations, prepping for a press conference, or finding the best way to position your company’s leaders, Amanda has the skills and experience to lead your communications to the next level.  

Amanda has her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and her Master of Public Health degree from Tulane University. She proudly calls New Orleans, LA her hometown, but happily resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two children.
